This historical building (circa 1800) is classified on the National Monuments Register as “Préservé Marais”.   Contrasting its historical presence, the apartment provides all of the modern comforts of the 21st century: security building access code, elevator/lift, high-speed internet, cable TV, hi-fi, washing machine, clothes dryer, dishwasher, electrical appliances, heated towel racks in the bathroom…

The apartment has been completely renovated maintaining its original features: oak parquetry floors, ceiling mouldings, Marais stonewalls, exposed oak beams, large windows… The apartment has been decorated in a modern style, accentuating and harmonising with its traditional features. 

The floor space of the apartment is 60m2, comprising an entrance hall, a living room, a kitchen, the main bedroom with a double bed, the second bedroom with two single beds, a large bathroom which can be divided, enabling the shower/toilet to be used independent of the washbasin. 
The apartment can cater for up to 4 people.

The individual heating system let you to set the desired temperature for each room. The whole apartment is equipped with high speed wireless internet connection (access is included in the rental price).

THE ENTRY: in this space with natural light provides an area to leave your coats or other objects used outside the apartment.

THE KITCHEN: fully equipped, including an electric ceramic stovetop, refrigerator, oven, microwave, extractor hood, washing machine, clothes dryer, dishwasher, full dinner setting and cutlery, saucepans, fry pans, coffee machine, toaster and other kitchen utensils.

THE LARGE LIVING ROOM offers you two spaces: enjoy the TV or hi-fi on the couches surrounding the coffee table; or share a meal around the four person dining table.

MAIN BEDROOM: a comfortable double bed 140x200 cm, a small coach, closet/wardrobe, bedside tables.  This room features original restored stonewalls characteristic of Marais.

SECOND BEDROOM: furnished with two single beds 90x200 cm and a large closet/wardrobe also a chair and a little table.  One of the beds may be taken away if not required during your stay, so that you will have more free space.

THE BATHROOM: equipped with a spacious shower, toilet, washbasin and towel heating rack.  The bathroom can be divided in two separate spaces by an interior door allowing you to use the sink independent of the rest of the bathroom.
